WeSec 2026: Integrated Security and Innovation at the Security Fair
The first edition of WeSec, the Security Fair promoted by ABI and organised by ABIEventi, took place in Milan. Held on 22 and 23 September at Allianz MiCo Nord, the event brought together, under one roof for the first time, the different dimensions of modern security, from cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection to geopolitical risk management and digital sovereignty.
S2E took part with its own booth in a context that holds particular significance for the company: WeSec was born from the banking and financial ecosystem, one of the sectors in which S2E has the strongest presence and where cybersecurity challenges are among the most complex, due to stringent regulatory requirements, highly articulated hybrid environments and a constantly expanding attack surface. This is an area where S2E brings years of hands-on experience, with a consulting approach that supports organisations throughout their entire cybersecurity maturity journey.
The two-day event provided an opportunity to meet experts and professionals from Italian and international banks and financial institutions, as well as to engage with security leaders from some of the country's leading organisations. At the S2E booth, discussions focused on the concrete challenges companies face in increasingly regulated environments, alongside insights into the solutions S2E works with every day to strengthen its clients' security posture.
