S2E at the Artificial Intelligence Observatory Conference of the Politecnico di Milano

On February 5, S2E took part in the conference organized by the Artificial Intelligence Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano, an event dedicated to presenting the results of the annual research on the state of AI adoption in Italy.

During the event, updated data were shared on investments, maturity levels of AI solutions, and the main application areas, with particular attention to the evolution of generative AI and its integration into business processes. The analyses showed that many organizations are moving beyond the experimentation phase and are addressing concrete issues related to scalability, integration with existing systems, and data quality.

Significant attention was also given to governance, compliance, and risk management, areas that are becoming increasingly central as artificial intelligence enters complex and regulated operational environments. The dialogue between companies, institutions, and academia highlighted a clear view of the operational challenges and priorities currently shaping technological choices in the AI field.

The conference provided a solid base of data and analysis to better understand the current dynamics of the Italian artificial intelligence market and the directions guiding its evolution.
