S2E is joining forces with HOFI to usher in a new era of IT efficiency.
Italy's leading institutionally owned funeral services group, HOFI S.p.A., has chosen S2E as its technology partner for a major infrastructure renewal project. The aim is to create a modern, secure and scalable IT ecosystem that can support the group's growth and centralise technology governance.
Based on an ITIL-framework-driven assessment, S2E designed a new architecture hosted in Aruba Business's Global Cloud Data Centre, one of Europe's highest-performing facilities. The project incorporated VMware virtualisation solutions, multi-tier enterprise storage, multi-level security with FortiGate and advanced Veeam backup solutions.
The result is a high-performance, resilient and fully controlled infrastructure with increased access speed by 50% at peripheral locations and reduced operating costs by 30%. This transformation paves the way for HOFI's future evolution towards hybrid, cloud-ready models.
