The award recognizes ORCHESTRA, the orchestrated AI Agents project developed in partnership with S2E, which streamlines the Software Development Cycle.   On June 18, 2026, the 2026 Use Case Session was held. Promoted by the Data & Decision Intelligence Observatory of the Digital Innovation Observatories at the Polytechnic University of Milan, it serves as a benchmark in Italy for research on digital innovation, data, and Artificial Intelligence applied to business.  The event brought together key public and private players in the Italian Data & AI landscape to share projects, results, and insights gathered over the past year, as part of a research initiative that has spent years analyzing the evolving relationship between businesses, data, and decision-making processes. S2E participated as a supporter of the Observatory, showcasing a tangible case study of innovation created alongside CNP Assicura: ORCHESTRA, the Agentic AI platform that is transforming the insurance company's Software Development Lifecycle.   ## The problem: fragmented validation processes, high operational risk Insurance companies rely on mission-critical applications that must evolve rapidly while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and regulatory compliance. However, software validation activities (code review, documentation, testing, and regression analysis) are often managed as manual, disconnected processes. The result is fragmentation that causes loss of context, inconsistent documentation, limited test coverage, slower releases, and higher operational risk. In this scenario, an integrated approach can boost efficiency while ensuring audit-readiness and full traceability. --- ## The solution: "ORCHESTRA" is born, an Agentic AI platform for the SDLC To solve this problem, CNP Assicura turned to S2E, and from this collaboration ORCHESTRA was born: an Agentic AI platform that orchestrates specialized AI agents throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle. Starting from the source code, dedicated agents execute the following steps sequentially: - Code review - Vulnerability assessment - Automated documentation generation - Test design - Automated test execution - Regression analysis The output of each agent serves as the input for the next, ensuring a continuous propagation of context across the entire validation process. Additionally, the platform generates structured evidence (execution logs, screenshots, reports) to support governance, compliance, and quality assurance in the insurance domain.
